Zonta Club of Birmingham Says NO to Violence Against Women.  During 16 days of Activism, Zonta aims to raise awareness of violence against women and girls in our community.

Starting today, November 25th, through December 10th, we join a global campaign of Zonta International to make the world a safer place for women.  This year we are focusing on human trafficking, particularly in view of the upcoming World Games in Birmingham.

A billboard at the interchange of Oxmoor Road and I-65 in Homewood in Birmingham, AL (US) proclaims:

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

SEE SOMETHING – SAY SOMETHING

888.3738.888 (National Human Trafficking Hotline)

An American Problem

ZONTA SAYS NO MORE

If you see the billboard, please take a photo and post on our Zonta Club of Birmingham FB or Twitter page or email zontabirmingham@gmail.com

Zonta Club of Birmingham will also be sponsoring a virtual information session about human trafficking on January 11.  Details will be coming soon.
