Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women | Understand Human Trafficking

Zonta Club of Birmingham Says NO to Violence Against Women.  During 16 days of Activism, Zonta aims to raise awareness of violence against women and girls in our community.

From November 25 to December 10, we join a global campaign of Zonta International to make the world a safer place for women.  This year we are focusing on human trafficking, particularly in view of the upcoming World Games in Birmingham, AL (US).

From the Polaris project:

Power and Control Wheel

There is no single method of force, fraud or coercion. Based on the Domestic Abuse Intervention Project’s Duluth Model, this Power and Control wheel outlines the different types of abuse that can occur in labor and sex trafficking situations.
