Goldstein’s novel is the second installment of a series featuring culinary-challenged Sarah Blair, who thinks there’s only one thing scarier than cooking from scratch – murder.  Goldstein’s previous book in the series was One Taste Too Many, which received much praise from reviewers.

‘’…sure to whet the appetites of whodunit lovers.  Set with colorful and charming characters, the plot offers a bit of humor…” proclaimed the New York Journal of Books.

After practicing corporate international tax law, then labor litigation, she was appointed as a U.S. Administrative Law Judge.  She resigned her lifetime appointment to follow her passion for writing.

She was a finalist for the Anthony and Agatha Short Story Award.  Her work has been published by a number of periodicals and anthologies.

Debra H. Goldstein will donate portions of her October proceeds from book sales (includes pre-sales) to the Zonta Birmingham Foundation in support of domestic violence awareness and the YWCA Santa’s Workshop (Birmingham, Al). Goldstein is a generous member of the Zonta Club of Birmingham (part of Zonta International, which seeks to empower women through service and advocacy).
