Rhiannon Rivers is a Project Manager at Southern Company in SCS Transmission Planning. She began her career with Southern Company in 2010 as an Engineer in SCS Protection & Control Design in Birmingham and progressed through the engineering classifications while working in SCS Protection & Control Design, APC Transmission Project Management & Customer Service and SCS Transmission Planning. Rhiannon served as a Supervisor in SCS T&PS Substation Control Design and most recently as a Project Manager in SPC Transmission & Markets.
Rhiannon has actively participated in iCan since its creation in 2010 and has had several leadership roles on the Phillips Academy iCan Team, the Girls Engineering Conference, and most recently serves as the iCan Program Co-Manager.
Rhiannon received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She is also a registered professional engineer in the state of Alabama.
